GL AH36 shipbuilding steel plate is a kind of high tensile strength marine steel. All of these steels have been engineered to be optimal long-lived shipbuilding steels.As with other grades of steel, they have a specific gravity of 7.8. Higher-strength GL shipbuilding steel comes in 12 grades of 3 strengths, GL AH36 steel is one of the grades. The GL AH36 shipbuilding steel plate have yield strength of 51,000 psi (355 MPa), and ultimate tensile strength of 71,000 - 90,000 psi (490-620 MPa). All the GL AH36 shipbuilding steel plate offered by KUNFENG Industry can be certificated by Germanischer Lloyd (GL) as per customer’s request.
GL AH36 shipbuilding steel plate are mainly used for making the offshore oil drilling platform, the hull of ship building and ship repairing, the platform pipe joints and other components. GL AH36 shipbuilding steel plate also can be used for producing container and bulk cargo vessels as well as cruise ships, ferries and yachts.
