JIS S35C steel is high quality carbon structural steel. S35C is usually used as mechanical structure after being cut, being grinded, or heat treatment process, etc. It has good plasticity and good strength. It has good performance in processing, and with good weld-ability. S35C steel is usually used in state of normalizing and tempering condition.

The tolerance of S35C plate, flat bar and strip should be in accordance with JIS G3194 standard.
