GL EH36 shipbuilding steel plate is a kind of high tensile strength marine steel. All of these steels have been engineered to be optimal long-lived shipbuilding steels.As with other grades of steel, they have a specific gravity of 7.8. The GL EH36 shipbuilding steel plate have yield strength of 51,000 psi (355 MPa), and ultimate tensile strength of 71,000 - 90,000 psi (490-620 MPa).
GL EH36 shipbuilding steel plate can be used for producing container and bulk cargo vessels as well as cruise ships, ferries and yachts. GL EH36 shipbuilding steel plate are mainly used for making the hull of ship building and ship repairing, the offshore oil drilling platform, the platform pipe joints and other components.
