309S stainless steel equivalent material is 0Cr23Ni13 under Chinese standard and S30908 under American standard(AISI, ASTM). 309S is free cutting stainless steel containing sulfur, so 309S stainless steel is mainly used for the condition requiring free cutting and smooth surface DuDu high. 309S is low carbon content variations of 309 stainless steel and used for situation requiring welding. 309S stainless steel can withstand repeated heating under 980 ℃ and has high strength and oxidation resistance, high temperature carburizing performance.
